The North Bay Regional Historica Fair
The North Bay Regional Historica Fair will be held May 1, 2008. This Fair brings together students from grades 4 through 9 from neighbouring schools to share projects they produced showcasing the history, geography and diverse heritage of our community, province and country. NORCCREA collaborates with Nipissing faculty & undergraduate students in history and education (Community Service Learning), as well as local educators and community members, to help organize the annual Fair. Examples of project titles from past Fairs include: "The Dionne Quintuplets," "My Family History," "The National Railway," "The Otto Holden Dam," "La vie des pionniers," "Le Premier Maire Noir au Canada" and "The Longhouse."
